The Bureau of Ideas will invite provocative thinkers and artists to visit Australia for a cultural exchange. The first project is scheduled for late September 2010. The participants will cross Australia by 4WD from Perth to Uluru and then fly from Alice Springs to Melbourne. The journey will be documented and published as a journal.

The participants will present lectures and/or exhibitions in Perth and at the Melbourne International Arts Festival.

19 - 22 September 2010 : Perth
For four days, includes a one day symposium.

23 September - 9 October 2010 : Journey Across Australia
